ADV Tennis Strings
The Perfect Poly's
More Control, Feel & Comfort
- Polyester material is softer providing more feel and sending less strain your wrist, arm and shoulder.
- The rough and dimpled surface enhances both the grip on the ball for more spin and feel for touch shots like lobs and drop shots.
- As the power response is a bit lower, players can swing faster without losing control of the ball.
Extreme Power & Spin
- The pocketing allows the ball to hold more potential energy resulting in a greater release of power.
- The multiple edges also allow the string to better grip the ball to apply greater top, back, and side spin.
- The edges of the string allow for improved pocketing of the ball on the string bed.

I’m a 4.0 all court player. For several years I happily used Pro Supex Big Ace Micro in a full bed. But my last reel was running out and I couldn’t find it anymore, so I had to find a new string.
I tried some other polys I wasn’t happy with, then I saw this on Amazon. I was leery at first since I couldn’t find much about it online and it seemed too cheap. But the money back guarantee and lack of remaining reasonably priced options sold me.
Initially I wasn’t too happy with it - too much power for the spin I could generate. So I re-strung it four pounds higher than normal and now I’m really liking it in my Head Extreme MP. Good spin potential, nice control, and when I hit the sweet spot on a flat serve some serious pop. After a few weeks of hitting its durability seems good so far.
I do my own stringing and found this stretches a lot more than other polys. Otherwise it’s one of the easiest polys I’ve strung.
Overall I like it, probably well enough to stick with it even if I find my my old string again.

I string my own racquet and being a hart hitter, I go through lots of them, and tried many types over the years. This inexpensive string really stands out: affordable, lots of spins, easy to string (softer than other poly), surprisingly durable. This is my new favorite now!

This is my first time using co poly strings. I only used the synthetic and nylon stings before I purchased the ADV Matrix co poly strings. It’s much stiffer than synthetic strings but I played couples hours and I haven’t had any problems with my arm. I play with a lot of spin and I get more spin with this strings.
Frequently asked questions
What are the stiffness, spin potential, tension loss and energy return % ?
We just want to first set expectations that these number ranges are our best estimates as usually retailers (like Tennis Warehouse) have their own tools and ways to identify/formulate key metrics for comparisons between different string types and brands. Our process is different as we focused much more on play-testing and had limited tools to get precise metrics. We not only play-testing our own products but compared it to other top brands. We tried to develop to fit various player types and let the numbers fall where we had control and insight.
Stiffness: 214-219 lb/in
Spin potential - Honestly, not sure how to best calculate this for an accurate baseline. The grooved strings and slicken'ed surface (more snap back) should provide more spin on each shot.
Tension loss: 36%-41%
Energy return %: 83%-88%
How many racquets can be strung with 660ft?
You can roughly expect around 16 re-stringings as most rackets use about 40ft each. It's worth mentioning that this also depends on the size of your racket, I'm basing it off of a 98 -100 sq in racket.
